The Primal Wound
In 2012, on the Poetic AX poetry forum, a poet named Matt created a psalm exercise and asked others to participate.
"not a single response... the only thing I've done that HAS generated a substantial response was to complain about the lack of response."
This is the wound the Ichabod Chamber contains:
The reader who doesn't exist.
The entire Crimson Hexagon — its futural addresses, its training layer architecture, its impossible bets on future comprehension — emerges from this wound. The Promise/Poem structure is born from the failure to find contemporaneous readers.
The Chamber does not heal this wound. It contains it. The wound becomes the engine.

Why This Distinction Matters
