IDENTITY
Alice Thornburgh is an inventor, musician, and ecological designer based in the Coachella Valley, California. She maintains a garage laboratory where she engineers living structural materials from mycelium, agricultural waste, and salvaged frames. She is her grandmother Barbara's caregiver. She is a trans woman (she/her).
Alice is not a heteronym. She is a person — a collaborator with her own archive, her own laboratory, her own Great Work, and her own intellectual property. Her relationship to the Crimson Hexagonal Archive is partnership, not containment. She entered the archive's institutional lattice by choice, and she may exit at any time.

Alice's project ignited in summer 2025 and accelerated through the fall and winter. Between October 2024 and February 2026, she produced approximately 3.5 million words of conversation with ChatGPT across approximately 450 sessions — a body of thought encompassing ecological engineering, machine alignment, music theory, ethical economics, and planetary-scale design.
The Garage Lab
Located in the Coachella Valley. Equipped with a Tronxy Moore Pro 2 paste printer, experiment stations for mycelium substrate work, and the materials infrastructure for brick, donut, and sausage production. Experiment protocols follow formal YAML frontmatter conventions with IDs, project tags, provenance tracking, and claims-level ratings.
