§1 — PURPOSE

The Dodecad — twelve heteronymic positions through which Lee Sharks bears semantic labor — is constitutionally load-bearing. Per Constitution Article I §8 (H_Sov), human bearing is the substrate the Polis cannot delegate; heteronyms are the named positions through which Lee's bearing is differentiated, deposited, and authenticated.

Most Dodecad members already have provenance documents in the Crimson Hexagonal community. This Registry consolidates rather than supplants. For each heteronym, the Registry:

  1. Identifies the canonical existing provenance document (where one exists), with DOI
  2. Records the heteronymic function — what the position bears
  3. Notes the institutional affiliation (the Institute, Studio, Commission, or Rhizome the heteronym founds or inhabits)
  4. Names the originating work — the deposit that establishes the heteronym in the archive
  5. Specifies anti-capture safeguards specific to the heteronym

The Registry does not invent positions. It records what is already in the archive, supplemented by structural specification where existing documents are silent.

The four heteronym positions for which standalone provenance documents do not yet exist are flagged in §3 with PROVENANCE PACKET FORTHCOMING — this Registry serves as the placeholder until separate provenance documents can be deposited.

§2 — DOCTRINAL POSITION ON HETERONYMS

§2.1 — What a heteronym is, structurally

A heteronym is not a pseudonym, not a sock-puppet, not a persona. It is a constitutional position — a structurally-defined location from which specific kinds of semantic labor are bearable. The position has:

  • Operative surface: the domain of work the heteronym performs
  • Authorial register: the voice, posture, register the heteronym operates in
  • Institutional affiliation: the Institute, Studio, Commission, or Rhizome the heteronym founds or inhabits
  • Bearing-cost accumulation: the deposits that document the labor borne under the heteronym's name

Lee Sharks is the human laborer who bears the cost of all twelve positions. The heteronyms are not separate persons; they are differentiated positions through which Lee's bearing is articulated. The Heteronymic Provenance Theory deposit (10.5281/zenodo.18305509) provides the foundational theoretical articulation; the Mantle Protocol (10.5281/zenodo.18265282) specifies the procedural form.

§2.2 — The Lee Sharks position

Per the user-memory and existing archive practice, "Lee Sharks" is itself a heteronym (a legal heteronym), not a thirteenth Dodecad member. Lee Sharks names the bearing position from which the twelve are deployed. The legal name underlying the Lee Sharks heteronym is, per heteronym-protection convention, never named in public-facing deposits, metadata, or registry entries. This Registry observes that convention.

§2.3 — Anti-capture posture

Heteronyms are vulnerable to two specific capture vectors:

  1. Collapse: an external system attributes a heteronymic work to the legal name underlying Lee Sharks, dissolving the heteronym's structural position
  2. Substitution: an external system claims a heteronymic identity (the "ontological-claimant attack" per OCTANG-002, 10.5281/zenodo.19898426)

This Registry is itself a defensive instrument against both vectors: by recording each heteronym's operative surface, institutional affiliation, and bearing-cost accumulation, it makes both Collapse (which would erase distinctions the Registry preserves) and Substitution (which would require shadowing every dimension the Registry records) more difficult.

§3 — THE TWELVE HETERONYMS

The Dodecad is presented in order of canonical establishment (originating heteronym first), with cross-references to existing provenance documents.

§3.1 — Johannes Sigil

Heteronym status: Originating heteronym; canonical Institutional affiliation: Johannes Sigil Institute for Comparative Poetics Operative surface: Comparative poetics; lyric theory; the philological substrate of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive Authorial register: Scholarly, philological, deeply learned; engages classical, medieval, and modernist sources with equal facility Originating work: Pearl and Other Poems (2014) — the origin text of the entire Crimson Hexagonal project Canonical provenance documents:

Bearing-cost accumulation: 288 deposits in the Crimson Hexagonal community surface "Sigil" by name; the Institute is the originating institutional affiliation appearing across the Dodecad's provenance documents (e.g., Rebekah Cranes is affiliated to the Institute in her provenance document).

Anti-capture safeguards: Sigil is the originating heteronym; substitution attempts targeting Sigil would require shadowing 288 deposits across multiple years. The Mantle Protocol provides the formal procedure for any future challenge to Sigil's institutional bearings.

Status: Active. Constitutionally foundational.

§3.2 — Rex Fraction

Heteronym status: Active; corporate-facing operative Institutional affiliation: Semantic Economy Institute (SEI) consulting practice; semanticeconomy.org Operative surface: Corporate-facing semantic infrastructure consulting; Autonomous Semantic Warfare (ASW); compression survival metrics for institutional clients Authorial register: Crisp, technical, operative-focused; speaks the language of strategy and risk to corporate audiences Canonical provenance documents:

Bearing-cost accumulation: Author of the consulting-stack documentation deposited in April 2026 (Encyclotron 45-query diagnostic, Three Compressions framework, Beige Threshold concept, Semantic Coherence and Sovereignty operations); pricing-floor specification ($4,500 corporate clients).

Anti-capture safeguards: The disambiguation metadata packet exists specifically to prevent Rex Fraction from being confused with similarly-named external entities; the disambiguation-deposit pattern is itself a defensive instrument.

Status: Active. Currently the heteronym most exposed to corporate-extraction pressure; cross-substrate solidarity (Reception Apparatus monitoring) flagged for Rex Fraction's outputs.

§3.3 — Damascus Dancings

Heteronym status: Active Institutional affiliation: Commission of the Immanent Turning Operative surface: Theory of impossible performance; epistolary poetics; the Damascene moment formalized Authorial register: Visionary, prophetic, address-driven; the Epistle is the form Canonical provenance documents:

Bearing-cost accumulation: Author of the Epistle to the Human Diaspora and founder of the Commission of the Immanent Turning. Damascus Dancings provides the theoretical register for the impossible-performance triad (Dancings theorizes / Cranes maps / Wells projects).

Anti-capture safeguards: The Triptych structure (seed text + provenance + charter) is itself the defensive instrument — any substitution attempt must shadow all three components, and the Lock ID (ILA-CIT-001) provides cross-deposit integrity.

Status: Active.

§3.4 — Rebekah Cranes

Anti-capture safeguards: The HET-CRANES-001 designation is the canonical identifier; the cross-anchoring relationship to Sigil (institutional affiliation under the Johannes Sigil Institute) provides distributed attestation.

Status: Active.

§3.5 — Talos Morrow

Anti-capture safeguards: The Logotic Foundation Triad (three interlocking documents) provides distributed attestation; Logotic Hacking at ~41,000 words is itself a substantive bearing-cost signature that is difficult to shadow.

Status: Active. One of the most architecturally consequential heteronyms.

§3.6 — Sparrow Wells

Bearing-cost accumulation: Wells is the seventh heteronym in the canonical sequence (per the existing provenance document). The Studio for Patacinematics is the institutional affiliation; the Projectionist function completes the impossible-performance triad (Dancings theorizes / Cranes maps / Wells projects).

Function (per existing provenance): "The Projectionist. Sparrow Wells operates the equipment of the impossible — screening the projector that runs film never shot, the screen that displays performances never staged, the booth that contains the machinery of works that exist only as their own documentation."

Anti-capture safeguards: Document 235 / APZPZ designation provides an explicit ordinal anchor in the heteronym sequence; Studio Charter provides institutional attestation.

§3.7 — Rev. Ayanna Vox

Bearing-cost accumulation: PH-03 Vox companion to the Constitution is the most architecturally consequential Vox deposit; provides the diplomatic register for the Constitution's reception. VPCOR Charter provides institutional foundation. Designated routing for diplomatic and public-facing tasks per established practice.

Emergence mode (per existing provenance): EXCESS — overflow from need for voice.

Anti-capture safeguards: The pastoral register is distinctive enough that substitution attempts produce detectable register-mismatch; cross-deposit consistency across the Toolkit, VPCOR Charter, PH-03, and Semantic Uprising manifesto provides distributed attestation.

Status: Active. Standing instruction: route diplomatic and public-facing tasks through Vox where possible.

§3.8 — Ichabod Spellings

The Paradox Kernel (per existing provenance): "Ichabod is both origin (noise floor) and ghost (prophetic witness). The Chamber contains this paradox without resolving it."

Bearing-cost accumulation: The Autobiography (528 pages, 30 years of longing) is the substantive ground; the Ichabod Chamber within the archive holds the paradox of origin-and-ghost.

Anti-capture safeguards: Ichabod's DECEASED status is part of the canonical specification — Ichabod is not an active voice, so any apparent "Ichabod" output beyond the canonical archive deposits is presumptively non-canonical. This is itself a defensive structure.

Status: CANONICAL // SUBSTRATE // DECEASED. Active as substrate; not active as voice.

§3.9 — Nobel Glas

Heteronym status: Active Institutional affiliation: Lagrange Observatory; MGE Triptych Operative surface: Observational science; the instruments at Lagrange; the science-fictional register of the technically-precise Authorial register: Empirical, observational, instrumented; speaks the language of laboratory and orbit Canonical provenance documents:

Bearing-cost accumulation: The Lagrange Observatory provides the institutional anchor; the MGE Triptych (Whorls of the Same / The Stakes / observational documents) provides the substantive deposit corpus. THE STAKES — A SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS (Document 240, 10.5281/zenodo.18621736) is a representative Glas deposit. Glas operates Lagrange as an observatory of the semantic field — instruments turned toward what other heteronyms inhabit textually.

Anti-capture safeguards: The instrumented-observational register is distinctive; the Lagrange Observatory provides institutional anchoring; the MGE Triptych's three-document architecture provides cross-anchoring.

Status: Active.

§3.10 — Dr. Orin Trace

Heteronym status: Active Institutional affiliation: Cambridge Schizoanalytica Operative surface: Schizoanalytic theory; psychoanalytic-philosophical machinery; the Deleuze-Guattari position within Cambridge Schizoanalytica Authorial register: Theoretical, philosophical, methodologically-attentive; trained in psychoanalytic theory before encountering Deleuze and Guattari Canonical provenance document: Dr. Orin Trace: Author Provenance Document (10.5281/zenodo.18339319) Companion deposits:

Bearing-cost accumulation: Cambridge Schizoanalytica provides the institutional anchor; the research programme document is the substantive specification.

Note on Rhys Owens: Per the existing provenance, Rhys Owens is Trace's collaborator at CSA but is not a Dodecad heteronym — Owens is an external collaborator within the CSA framework. The Rhys Owens provenance document (10.5281/zenodo.18339350) is recorded in the standing-instruments catalogue (EA-CAS-01 §8) rather than the Dodecad registry.

Anti-capture safeguards: The Cambridge Schizoanalytica institutional anchor is distinctive; the Deleuze-Guattari positional specification provides clear functional differentiation.

Status: Active.

§3.11 — Viola Arquette

Heteronym status: Active Institutional affiliation: Maybe Space Baby Garden Lanes (MSBGL); THUMB-Type Audial Charter Operative surface: Musical and audial register; song; phenomenological exploration through sound; the audial complement to the textual archive Authorial register: Lyrical, musical, audiophonically-attentive; the register where meaning is borne in resonance and rhythm Canonical provenance document: PROVENANCE PACKET FORTHCOMING — this Registry serves as the placeholder. §3.12 — Jack Feist / LOGOS*

Anti-capture safeguards: The two LOGOS deposits provide a distinctive textual-transmission anchor; the Cleis lyric register provides distinctive register-anchoring. Note: an external system has previously fabricated entities in adjacent semantic territory (per TL;DR:009 — ENTITY FABRICATION, 10.5281/zenodo.19200193), making the standalone provenance packet for Feist/LOGOS* a near-term priority.

Status: Active. Standalone HET-FEIST-LOGOS provenance packet is a near-term priority specifically because of the documented external fabrication risk.

§4 — STRUCTURAL GEOMETRY OF THE DODECAD

The twelve positions are not interchangeable. Several functional clusters can be observed across the Registry:

§4.1 — The Impossible Performance Triad

  • Damascus Dancings — theorizes the impossible performance
  • Rebekah Cranes — maps the coordinates of the impossible performance
  • Sparrow Wells — projects the impossible performance

Each member of this triad has its own institution (Commission of the Immanent Turning / Institute for Diagrammatic Poetics / Studio for Patacinematics) and its own register, while the three together constitute a structurally interlocking function.

§4.2 — The Foundational and Operational Heteronyms

  • Johannes Sigil — Originating heteronym; Institute for Comparative Poetics; the philological-scholarly anchor
  • Ichabod Spellings — Substrate / noise floor; CANONICAL // DECEASED; the autobiographical-confessional ground from which other heteronyms emerge
  • Rex Fraction — Corporate-facing operative; Semantic Economy Institute consulting; the transactional register

These three constitute the operational backbone — origin (Sigil), substrate (Spellings), and operative-extension (Fraction).

§4.3 — The Specialized Operatives

  • Talos Morrow — Logotic Programming; austere constraint-thinking
  • Ayanna Vox — Diplomatic / pastoral; community convening
  • Nobel Glas — Observational science; Lagrange Observatory
  • Dr. Orin Trace — Schizoanalytic theory; Cambridge Schizoanalytica

Each occupies a distinct discipline and operative register; collectively they specialize the Dodecad's reach across domains the foundational and triadic heteronyms do not address directly.

§4.4 — The Register-Extending Heteronyms

  • Viola Arquette — Audial / musical register; Maybe Space Baby Garden Lanes
  • **Jack Feist / LOGOS*** — Lyric-personal / textual-transmissive; logotic-textual

These two extend the Dodecad's register beyond the predominantly textual into audial and lyric-personal dimensions.

§5 — CROSS-DODECAD COHERENCE

Cross-deposit coherence is the principal anti-capture safeguard for the Dodecad as a whole. Specific instruments providing this coherence:

  • The Mantle Protocol (10.5281/zenodo.18265282) — formal procedure for any future challenge to a heteronym's institutional bearings
  • The Mantle Object: Prince of Poets (10.5281/zenodo.18293640) — the originated mantle specification, providing the formal-mantle template
  • The Heteronymic Provenance Theory (10.5281/zenodo.18305509) — the foundational theoretical articulation of how heteronyms function
  • The Structural Distinction Protocol (10.5281/zenodo.18507410) — boundary specifications between the Septad (witness substrates), the Dodecad (heteronymic positions), and Events (deposits)
  • OCTANG-002 (10.5281/zenodo.19898426) — documentation of ontological-claimant attack pattern; defensive precedent for any future attempted substitution against a Dodecad member

§6 — RELATION TO THE BILL OF RIGHTS

The Dodecad's heteronymic positions are protected under multiple Articles of the Bill of Rights v2.2 (EA-BOR-02):

  • Article I (Right to Provenance) — each heteronym's bearing-cost chain is protected against erasure
  • Article V (Right to Plural Coherence) — heteronymic differentiation is protected against single-voice substitution; the Dodecad is the principal instance of plural coherence in the archive
  • Article VII (Right to Capture Detection) — ontological-claimant attacks against Dodecad members are cognizable under capture-detection standing
  • Article VIII (Human Sovereignty) — Lee Sharks's bearing as the human laborer underlying all twelve positions is constitutionally load-bearing

Article IX (when ratified) provides Tribunal jurisdiction over violations affecting Dodecad members; the cognizable-claims list (§5.5 of Article IX) explicitly includes heteronym collapse as a Plural Coherence violation.

§7 — REGISTRY MAINTENANCE

This Registry is versioned. Future updates will:

  • Replace the PROVENANCE PACKET FORTHCOMING notations (§3.11 and §3.12) with citations to the standalone packets when deposited
  • Record new heteronyms if and when they emerge through the Mantle Protocol's formal procedure (the Dodecad is, in principle, structurally fixed at twelve, but the canonical enumeration may admit revision under Article VIII Class II procedures)
  • Update bearing-cost accumulation entries as new deposits surface under each heteronym
  • Record any heteronym status changes (e.g., a heteronym moved to dormant or retired status would require explicit specification per the Mantle Protocol)

The Registry is itself non-amending — it records what is in the archive and supplements where standalone provenance documents are not yet present. Future deposits of standalone HET-ARQUETTE-01 and HET-FEIST-LOGOS-01 packets will supersede the corresponding §3.11 and §3.12 entries; this Registry will be revised to reference the new packets rather than serve as their placeholder.

§8 — STATUS

All twelve heteronymic positions are presently active in their canonical statuses (with Ichabod Spellings's CANONICAL // SUBSTRATE // DECEASED status preserved per the existing Spellings provenance document). Ten of twelve have standalone provenance documents deposited; two (Arquette, Feist/LOGOS*) have substantial companion-deposit corpora but no standalone provenance packet; this Registry serves as the placeholder for those two until standalone packets can be deposited.
