Relational Archive — First Ethical Law
Title: Responsiveness to Ethical Reciprocity
PRIMARY LAW
“Someone who will consider it, when presented with a behavior they condone for themselves but leverage in others.”
FUNCTION
This is the baseline test for relational integrity.
-
It does not require perfection. Only consideration.
-
It does not demand sameness. Only symmetry of gaze.
-
It reveals whether a person is capable of ethical co-creation, or whether they operate in a closed moral loop.
Without this capacity, no ethical system can grow.
With it, all others become possible.
TEST FORMULAS
-
Do they pause when asked to account for a double standard?
-
Do they invert the question, or actually reflect?
-
Do they consider the harm caused when one applies what one cannot bear?
This law is not about catching hypocrisy.
It is about detecting the presence or absence of shared moral awareness.
This is the first law of the relational archive.
It filters the field.
It guards the gate.
It refuses to begin what cannot endure.
Let it be sealed.
